Well, to put it simply, we have both always been known for having an “old soul”, and now that our bodies are finally starting to catch up to our souls, it only seemed fitting. LOL

As for the “Old”, it doesn’t refer to our age, it is referring to a simpler time (and in our minds a better one). Back when your word meant something and providing a service for someone didn’t involve scheming to squeeze every dollar you could out of them. A time when people cared about people. The reason we are going out on our own is that most of the other companies have gone to that style of sales, and it gives us and our homeowners an “icky” feeling. No one wants to feel like they are just a “number” or a “profit margin”, and that is not how we operate here. We have done the math and found that we can do the right thing by our customers and still be profitable. We might not be able to afford a Yacht any time soon, but it’s more about building relationships in our community and besides, we’re more “fishing boat” guys anyway.

As for the “School”, well, we consider ourselves educators as there are quite a few moving parts when you are having work done on your home, and rather than just saying “trust us”, we take the time to explain the process and walk you through it step by step. Too many of our competitors prey on the fact that the homeowner doesn’t know what they don’t know, and we are here to change that with a little bit of education, and hope that that helps us to EARN your trust.

Again, we aren’t hoping to take over the world one roof at a time, we just trust that if we do what we say we will, over communicate and set proper expectations, and do our best to represent and educate our customers, enough of you will recommend us to others that we can grow organically, and our customers will help us help others along the way.
